I just want to give a little help on the linking issues, password stuff, crd access, and approvals issues...
So here goes:
1) Logging into your WW account - If you used to be able to log into your WW account, and can't anymore, there's a good chance your password was incorrectly reset. This can happen for a number of reasons, but the best fix is generally to follow the "i forgot my password" link and try and reset your password. If that doesn't work, you can write to WW via the link provided on the login page to help reset your WW password for you.
2a) Linking an old membership - Several people
are having problems with their old membership. If this occurs and it
tells you your password is incorrect, you can try to reset it by using
the tool provided at http://cam-dev.white-wolf.com/resetforslackers.php
I wrote this tool in approximately 10 minutes (hence the name) and it
does a really quick and dirty reset and email. Someone on WW's side
then has to update their tables to get the new password in... so it
could take some time.
If this doesnt work, please either log an issue in the bugs system (http://camarilla.white-wolf.com/bugs)
or write to the address on the login page...
2b) New memberships / renewals - If you purchase a new membership, great, you should go to www.white-wolf.com/camredeem.php to "use" the credit. If you are going to purchase a renewal, i'd suggest you link your old membership first, then buy the credit and follow the same link... it will give you the option to renew your membership or send the credit to someone else. Problems with this should go to WW or be logged in the bug tracking software.
3) CRD access - Once you're membership is linked up, you should be able to access the CRD at http://camarilla.white-wolf.com/crd . We made every attempt to import your settings from the old membership database with regards to location and positions, etc, but if something went wrong OR you are a new member, you will have to pick the location you want to attach yourself in the system before it lets you do anything else. Just find a location close to you and link up! After that it should work.
If it does odd things, please log a bug.
4) Approvals access - Firstly, access should be achieved through http://camarilla.white-wolf.com/approvals/ . the login.php file has been "decomissioned". Approvals access is granted to users based on the presence of your WW number in the old approvals system. If your WW number wasn't the same as your membership number, you will not be able to access information in the approvals system. If the number in the DB is not correct, you are getting someone elses info when you log in, or you don't have the access to a second login you had before, please log an issue in the bug tracking system with your OLD approvals login, your cam number, and whether or not you got a blank "login" when you tried to access it (all your info was gone).
Some notes -
--The CRD contains lots of new functionality... the Character Storage,
Venues, and Prestige systems most especially. Therefore, these will
NOT have information in them in the CRD until you enter/import it. The
approvals system is still the place to do your approvals and such until
we finish up a new/better way to do it.
--The CRD currently does not have character storage set up for OWoD
sheets. We're discussing how much work it would be to add them and deciding
on if/when that would happen.
--Until no longer needed, the approvals system will be accessable. That
means we'll have some way to do changeling and owod approvals until
it's not needed anymore.
